The roots of Advanced Equipment Co. are in Washington Scale and Equipment Co. founded in 1924. In 1959 we branched out into the storage and handling equipment business and have grown with the industry.
We are based in Capitol Heights, MD, with a branch office in Middletown, Delaware. Our headquarters building is 11,000 square feet, providing space for sales, customer service, order processing, accounting department and warehouse services. The warehouse stocks are shelving products, pallet rack, wire decking, widespan shelving, corrugated metal decking, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and plastic storage bins.
Our supplier base is anchored by the high quality, well known manufacturers such as Penco Products (36 years), Wildeck (14 years), Magliner (11 years), Lista International (18 years), Porta Fab (4 years), Speedrack (46 years), Buckhorn (25 years), Wirecrafters (25 years), Borroughs (20 years), Unex (30 years), to name a few.
In addition to planning, design, layout, sales and service we are the preeminent source of the latest pallet rack repair and reinforcement technology provided by Damo Tech products.
